We've been a part of the World Class TKD family since 2010, when my daughter started as a Little Tiger at the age of 4. She became a black belt November 2, 2013, at the age of 7. Later that month, I took advantage of a free trial for family members offered by the Scarsellas and loved it. So much that my family gave me a membership and sparring gear for Christmas that year! Now, I'm hoping to test for a black belt of my own in a few months. As a parent, I appreciate the time and attention the entire staff give to each of the younger students. Not only are kids learning tae kwon do techniques safely and properly, but they are learning so much more about basic life skills than I would have imagined. Each belt has a philosophy: focus, enthusiasm, goal setting, cooperation, self control, perseverance, confidence, respect, responsibility, and leadership. These attributes help the kids become better students and better people, which helps them succeed in life outside of martial arts. The Scarsellas and their staff are living examples of each of those philosophies. It's amazing to watch them with a class. As an adult student, I have an opportunity to get some exercise and learn some great self-defense techniques, and I get to kick the crap out of stuff. That's just plain fun. It doesn't matter what age you are or what your abilities are. Master Scarsella's World Class Tae Kwon Do is the perfect place to improve your health and yourself.
